Senior Software Development Engineer in Test-Power Management
Job Description
Amazon is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile devices like the Kindle family of products. We have worked to produce best-selling tablets with breakthrough hardware technology as well as e-readers that have revolutionized reading. What will you help us create?

In this role, you will:
? Design and develop automation framework/tools for our Kindle Fire product line.
? Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative consumer products.
? Work closely with software engineers on technical issues while testing large-scale systems, driving processes to reduce test automation maintenance, as well as improving quality assurance processes.
Basic Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
? 7+ years of experience in software development and testing in Java, C++ or C#
? Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
Preferred Qualifications
? Good understand of Android (or other embedded device) power management strategy and implementation.
? Experience to debug and analysis power consuming issues.
? Experience to optimize key service/application power consuming.
? Plus to have Chipset power management strategy, familiar with JTAG.
? Plus to have driver and BSP development skill.
? Experience in coding with Python and C.
? Experience with open source tools and resources
? Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
? Willing to learn and take challenge
