Job Description:
Manager DDI reports to Associate Director FPI and partners with the Senior Manager Fraud
Prevention and Training to manage the overall Due Diligence Programme conducted by CRI.
Manager DDI will be responsible for devising, implementing and managing large scale Due
Diligence projects, part of programmes aimed at eliminating fraud and corruption risks,
whilst enhancing business efficiency through the careful vetting of potential business
partners. Manager DDI will also be responsible for developing sustainable long term Due
Diligence programmes for both China and the Rest of the World as the role of CRI develops
and matures within the Company. The incumbent will work closely with Manager Supplier
Due Diligence and Training (DDIT) The incumbent is also expected to conduct and manage
complex investigations
Key responsibilities
? Develop and manage a sustainable Global and a Domestic Due Diligence investigation
programme, involving suppliers, customers and individuals, including the devising and
implementing a long term programme aimed at regular, periodic follow up Due
Diligence investigation of long term business partners
? Manage the development from large scale DD investigation projects of trends,
intelligence, and metrics aimed at the efficient running of the overall Due Diligence
programme, and the prevention of Fraud.
? Facilitate the use of DD investigations as an integral part of wider investigations
conducted by CRI.
? Indentify potential risks (Red Flags) raised by both individual DD investigations, and
larger scale DD projects and ensure these are accurately assessed and appropriately
addressed on both a case-by case basis, and from a more strategic level.
? In Liaision with the Manger DDIT ensure that trends and developments gleaned from the
overall DD programme are made available for incorporation into the on going Fraud
awareness and training programmes
? Track, monitor and ensure the timely completion of all DD projects
? Conduct assigned investigations, including where appropriate directly investigating key
DD enquiries.
? Develop and manage relationships with service providers and suppliers to nurture
positive ethical behavior on the part of employees, service providers and suppliers.
? Develop strong relationship with domestic and international law enforcement and
Government counterparts, as well as private sector peers.
