Major responsibilities:
?Provides workflow, technical and sales support of Varian’s Eclipse Treatment Planning, ARIA OIS and all other software solutions including SSA agreements.
?Supports and prepares quotations and tenders based on specifications and price lists and in close co-operation with Director, Software Sales, APAC and local sales and marketing teams as appropriate. Approvals will be aligned with regional approval guidelines
?Tailors customer specific presentations/proposals translating to localized value propositions focusing on workflow and differentiation.
?Maintains frequent contact with existing and potential customers so as to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence.
?Be a key member of the xxx VMS cross functional team, including product/field marketing, project management, customer support, application training, etc. to support new software product launch and to localize the value propositions to meet customer needs.
?Collects customer, industry and competitor information in order to report business needs and monthly forecasts and makes recommendations for the development of business and market strategies.
?Maintains information on all customers and products.
?Builds productive internal/external working relationships – including Professional Services business partners, distributors, and other business partners, e.g. Siemens.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
?Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
?Education in medical physics with a deep technical and clinical understanding of the treatment planning process in radiotherapy and modern planning techniques such as IMRT, IGRT and Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT).
?5+ years of related sales experience of treatment planning or oncology software products with a solid track record of success. Experience of modern radiotherapy treatment techniques and the associated treatment planning process is essential. A marketing/product management in treatment planning systems or oncology software will also be considered.
?natively, the candidate will have minimum 5 years’ experience as a medical physics or medical dosimetrist profession working within the planning department of oncology centers or will have worked for one of the leading suppliers of radiotherapy treatment planning systems.
?The candidate will need to gain a sound understanding and application of contract structuring, composition and contract negotiation and application of VMS business processes and procedures. This will include the preparation of detailed quotations and financial proposals that will be negotiated with the customers.
?Excellent written & verbal communication skills, and presentation skill are essential. Business level fluency in English and native mandarin language is required.
?Extensive travel 50% throughout China and overseas.
